Kentucky Clean Fuels Coalition had their annual winter meeting in Berea, KY, where the Green Fleets of the Bluegrass Cornerstone Project announced 15 fleet winners for the 2013 year.
KCFC has Winter Meeting at Boone Tavern
Kentucky Clean Fuels Coalition celebrated 20 years of work during the annual meeting at Boone Tavern in Barea, KY on December 17. Cornerstone project Green Fleets of the Bluegrass presented 15 awards to organizations continuing to improve the environmental practices of fleets across the commonwealth. Hybrid Horsepower for Kentucky Schools recognized the top 5 hybrid school bus districts. The US Department of Energy Clean Cities Director, Dennis Smith was in attendance to recognize the Green Fleets and hybrid bus award recipients.

Thorntons Celebrates I-75 Biofuels Corridor
Greg Crowe, Thorntons and Melissa Howell, KCFC handed out information and gift cards at the Thorntons location in Erlanger, Kentucky. Thorntons has newly designed E85 fuel pumps at the site. E85 sold for $1.99 as part of the I-75 Biofuels corridor celebration that included Thorntons sites in Ohio, Kentucky, and Tennessee.

Speedway, the Kentucky CornGrowers and KCFC celebrated the addition of E85 refueling at the 1040 North Mulberry, Elizabethtown, KY retail site.
