Join us for Information Sessions on the Volkswagen Settlement and the CMAQ Program. This webinar will feature a review of each program and updates with our special guest speakers: Lona Brewer, Jackie Jones, and Bernadette Dupont.
The Volkswagen Settlement is a combination of three partial settlements the EPA has resolved in a civil enforcement case against Volkswagen (VW). The settlement contains investment to three main pools of funding: funds dedicated to individual customers, nationwide investment in zero electric vehicles and infrastructure, and environmental mitigation trust fund to be distributed to states.
The Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement (CMAQ) Program provides funds to States for transportation projects designed to reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality, particularly in areas of the country that do not attain national air quality standards.
